Welcome to Globe Co., Ltd. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our services. By requesting, ordering, or using any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.


1. Definitions

For purposes of these Terms:

  • “Client,” “you,” or “your” means the individual or entity requesting or using our services.

  • “Services” means intermediary and support services provided by Globe, including but not limited to:

    • proxy purchasing and sourcing of items,

    • ticket and event booking assistance,

    • research and procedural support,

    • study abroad consulting and advisory support.

  • “Service Fee” means the fee charged by Globe for providing Services, separate from product costs, shipping costs, taxes, and duties.

  • “Item Cost” means the purchase price of goods, tickets, or other items paid to a third-party seller or provider.

  • “Third-Party Provider” means any seller, marketplace, store, event organizer, school, delivery carrier, or other party not controlled by Globe.

  • “Order” means any request made by the Client that Globe accepts for handling through the Services.


2. Scope of Services

2.1 Scope of Intermediary and Support Services

Globe provides support services to assist clients in obtaining goods, tickets, information, and related services in Japan, as well as arranging international shipment and related logistics where applicable.

2.2 Handling of Goods and Third-Party Providers

Globe does not manufacture, produce, or alter products. All goods, tickets, and services are sourced from third-party providers, including marketplaces, retailers, event organizers, and other independent parties not controlled by Globe. In the course of providing the Services, Globe may purchase, receive, store, inspect, package, and ship goods in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, including the Japanese Antique Dealings Act (古物営業法), where relevant.

2.3 No Guarantee of Availability or Condition

Availability, condition, and specifications of goods depend on third-party providers. Globe does not guarantee the availability, condition, or performance of goods beyond the information provided by the seller or provider, unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing.


3. Eligibility and Client Responsibilities

3.1 Eligibility

You must be legally capable of entering into contracts under applicable laws.

3.2 Accurate Information

You agree to provide complete and accurate information, including name, address, contact details, product details, and deadlines. Globe is not responsible for errors resulting from incorrect information provided by you.

3.3 Local Import Compliance

You are responsible for understanding and complying with your country’s import regulations and restrictions, including any licensing or prohibited item rules.


4. Quotes, Orders, and Acceptance

4.1 Quotes

All estimates and quotes are valid for 48 hours, unless otherwise stated. Prices may change due to exchange rates, stock availability, fees charged by Third-Party Providers, and shipping costs.

4.2 Order Acceptance

An Order is not binding until Globe confirms acceptance in writing via email or other written communication.

4.3 Right to Refuse

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any request at our sole discretion, including for compliance, safety, operational, or reputational reasons.


5. Payment Terms

5.1 Payment in Full

Unless otherwise agreed, full payment is required before we proceed with any purchase, reservation, booking, or research activity.

5.2 Currency

All transactions are processed in Japanese Yen (JPY). Any foreign currency display is for reference only.

5.3 Payment Methods

Accepted payment methods are determined by Globe and may change from time to time.

5.4 Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute without valid cause, Globe reserves the right to suspend service, refuse future Orders, and recover any losses or fees incurred.


6. Proxy Purchasing, Sourcing, and Marketplaces

6.1 Availability and Substitutions

Product availability may change without notice. Unless you approve substitutions, Globe will purchase only the specific item or items requested.

6.2 Used Items and Marketplace Goods

Items purchased through secondary marketplaces may be used, limited, or sold “as-is.” Globe cannot guarantee condition beyond the seller’s description.

6.3 Authenticity Disclaimer

Globe is not a professional or certified authenticator. Unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing, Globe does not verify or guarantee the authenticity, genuineness, or provenance of collectibles, luxury goods, rare items, trading cards, artworks, or other specialty items, and relies on information provided by third-party sellers or providers.


7. Ticket and Event Booking

7.1 Non-Refundable Nature

Tickets and event reservations are typically non-refundable and non-exchangeable once secured. You acknowledge these restrictions.

7.2 Delivery Method

Ticket delivery may involve physical pickup, convenience-store systems, ID checks, or digital access methods. Requirements vary by provider.

7.3 Attendance Requirements

Certain events may require the buyer’s name, phone number, identification, or account access. Globe is not responsible if entry is denied due to third-party policies.


8. Shipping, Delivery, Customs, and Risk

8.1 Basic Inspection

Upon arrival at our office, Globe performs a basic visual inspection for quantity and obvious damage. We do not perform functional testing unless explicitly agreed.

8.2 Shipping Carriers

Shipping is handled by Third-Party Providers (carriers). Delivery times are estimates only.

8.3 Risk of Loss

Risk of loss passes to you upon transfer to the shipping carrier, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

8.4 Customs, Duties, and Taxes

You are solely responsible for all import duties, VAT, GST, brokerage fees, customs charges, and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in your country. Globe Co., Ltd., as a Japan-based intermediary service provider, does not collect, remit, or pay any taxes, duties, or customs fees on behalf of foreign governments.

Globe Co., Ltd. shall not be liable for any delays, customs clearance issues, additional charges, or any other consequences arising from customs procedures, regulatory requirements, or actions taken by customs authorities in the destination country.

If a shipment is refused, returned, abandoned, or destroyed due to unpaid duties, taxes, or customs-related issues, you shall bear all associated costs, including but not limited to return shipping, storage fees, disposal fees, redelivery fees, and any administrative or handling charges.

No refunds will be provided for any costs, losses, or outcomes arising from such circumstances.

Delivery timelines affected by customs procedures or regulatory delays are not guaranteed.

8.5 Delays and Force Majeure

Globe is not liable for delays caused by carriers, customs clearance, weather, natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, government actions, or other events beyond our reasonable control.


9. Cancellations and Refunds

9.1 Client Cancellation

Once an item is purchased or a ticket is secured, cancellations are not accepted and refunds are not provided, except as required by law.

9.2 Unavailable Items

If an item becomes unavailable after payment and we have not completed the purchase, we will issue a full refund to the original payment method.

9.3 Service Fees

Service Fees may be non-refundable once work has started (for example, research performed, seller contact made, booking attempted), unless otherwise agreed.


10. Prohibited Items

Globe does not handle items prohibited by Japanese law or international shipping regulations, including but not limited to:

  • flammable, explosive, or hazardous materials,

  • perishable foods, plants, and live animals,

  • illegal substances,

  • counterfeit or infringing goods,

  • items exceeding size or weight restrictions.

We may request additional information if we suspect a restricted item.


11. Research and Procedural Services Disclaimer

11.1 No Legal Advice

Research and procedural support is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal, tax, or investment advice.

11.2 Third-Party Accuracy

Globe is not responsible for inaccuracies in public records, websites, or information provided by Third-Party Providers.


12. Study Abroad Consulting Disclaimer

12.1 Advisory Nature

Study abroad consulting is advisory support only. Final admission decisions are made solely by schools and institutions.

12.2 No Guarantee

We do not guarantee acceptance, visa issuance, or outcomes dependent on third-party decisions.


13. Intellectual Property

All content provided by Globe, including website content, documents, templates, procedures, reports, and materials, is owned by Globe or its licensors and may not be reproduced or redistributed without prior written consent.


14. Privacy and Communications

14.1 Client Information

We collect and use personal information only to the extent necessary to provide the Services, communicate with you, process payments, and fulfill Orders. We handle personal information appropriately and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

14.2 Communication

You consent to receiving communications from us via email, messaging applications, or other channels you provide.


15. Limitation of Liability

15.1 Service Fee Cap

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Globe’s liability is limited to the Service Fee paid for the relevant transaction.

15.2 No Indirect Damages

Globe is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, business interruption, or loss of data.

15.3 Third-Party Providers

Globe is not liable for actions or failures of Third-Party Providers, including sellers, carriers, event organizers, schools, and platforms.


16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Globe, its directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses, including reasonable attorney’s fees, arising from your use of Services, your Orders, or violation of these Terms.


17. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website with a revised Effective Date. Continued use of our Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.


18. Termination

We may suspend or terminate Services at any time if:

  • you violate these Terms,

  • payment is not made in full,

  • you engage in abusive behavior or fraud,

  • or compliance and safety risks arise.


19. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court, Japan.


20. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
